February 15th rant...

"Surely you can question my policies without questioning my faith..."

Can we, Mr. President?? Ok dear reader, please watch the video, then let's talk... The President said: "Surely you can question my policies without questioning my faith," paused a few seconds then added "or for that matter, my citizenship." So, on the surface, aside from the dig at the so called 'birthers' (people who do not believe that he is a citizen, and is disqualified from the Presidency because he was not born in the USA) that was a very interesting statement. More importantly, it was an erroneous, albeit a clever statement. Scripture is quite clear that the mouth speaks the content of the heart (Matthew 12:34) , and Proverbs Chapter 23 verse 7 says, “As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he.” ... So the fact is, that we MUST, once we see you policies, question your faith, Mr. President. Clever, but no pass...
