My Place in this world??

Several years ago, I song was out called ‘Place in this World’
The chorus said the following:

Looking for a reason. Roaming through the night to find
My place in this world, My place in this world
Not a lot to lean on, I need your light to help me find
My place in this world. My place in this world

The song used to make me feel anywhere from vaguely annoyed to nauseated, and I did not understand why. Today, years later, when I have not heard the song in many moons, it hit me.

We have a place, it is at His Feet!

"Pope and Change"

A Facebook friend wondered aloud how Pope Francis got to be Pope in light of comments like this: "We have created New idols. worship of the ancient golden calf has returned in a new and ruthless guise in the idolatry of money and the dictatorship of an impersonal economy lacking a truly human purpose. The worldwide crisis affecting finance and the economy lays bare their imbalances and, above all, their lack of real concern for human beings."   - Pope Francis I responded thus: "He became Pope the same way that Barack Obama became President.
