Lisa was born August 5 th , 1964 in Brooklyn, New York, to the late Reuben and Bertie, the third of their four children, and only daughter.   She graduated from South Shore High School in 1981, and went on to John Jay College of Criminal Justice, graduating in 1985. Lisa joined the Kings County (Brooklyn) District Attorney’s Office in 1986, rising to a supervisory paralegal position, and was employed there until her passing. A Facebook friend wondered aloud how Pope Francis got to be Pope in light of comments like this: "We have created New idols. worship of the ancient golden calf has returned in a new and ruthless guise in the idolatry of money and the dictatorship of an impersonal economy lacking a truly human purpose. The worldwide crisis affecting finance and the economy lays bare their imbalances and, above all, their lack of real concern for human beings."   - Pope Francis I responded thus: "He became Pope the same way that Barack Obama became President. Many Christians generally accept that the law of tithing, as other Jewish laws, was abolished upon Jesus' crucifixion, when he fulfilled the Old Testament law.
